Cinepolis

Cinepolis is one of the most famous cinemas in the country and can be found in several of the major cities:

 

Cinépolis Lincoln and VIP Lincoln: Located in the Lincoln Mall in the city of Moravia in San Jose

Cinépolis Paseo de las Flores: Located in Paseo de Las Flores Mall in the city of Heredia

Cinépolis Terramall: Located in Terramal Autop. Florencio del Castillo in the city of Cartago

Cinépolis Paseo Metrópoli: Located in the Paseo Metrópoli Mall in Cartago

Cinépolis Multicentro: Located in the Multicentro shopping center in Dasamparados, San Jose

Seniors ₡2,600

For VIP cinema tickets, the price for everyone is ₡6,800.

Cinemark

This is the second largest cinema chain in Costa Rica, with screens in the following locations:

This one is one of the oldest cinema companies, with just two locations:

This is a smaller and less visited cinema, but it is still a good option if you happen to be in La California, San Jose, and fancy watching a movie.
